Vicki Lorraine Lester Whitworth passed away in Missoula. on March 14, 2023, at the age of 68.

She was born October 4, 1954, to Loyal Lester and Evelyn Brown in St. Ignatius. Throughout Vickie’s life she acquired several nicknames such as Lovey, Granny and Bama.

Vickie met the love of her life, Fred Martin Whitworth Jr. and they got married December 26, 1970. Vickie and Fred moved to Camas Prairie as newlyweds and later settled in Valley CreekArlee, where they started their family and raised their children. She was the loving mother to Nickie Lorraine Nicholas and Jennifer Lee Cramer. Later in life the two moved to Niarada.

She was the best cook, some people showed up to their brandings just for Vickie’s cooking. She cooked for numerous places such as: Bluesky, Bison Cafe, Gauther’s, Arlee School. Vickie was also a Culinary Arts Instructor at Job CORP. She was a teacher, helped at the afterschool program and worked as a Rancher.

She loved beading, drawing, puzzles, and her magazines. Her most beloved hobby was traveling and visiting with anyone and everyone. Everyone always ended up her friend after meeting and talking to her. She was loved by many.

Vickie is preceded in death by her soulmate, husband Fred. Her father Loyal Lester, mother Evelyn Lester, and nephew Douglas Hawkins.

She is survived by her children: Nickie Nicholas (Larry) and Jennifer Cramer (Richard.) Her grandchildren: Riley Whitworth, Courtney Charlo, Emilie Charlo, and Ran’Dee Charlie. Greatgrandchildren: Kameleigh Adams, Blake Charles, Azaloa, Antiste, and Ryder. Her siblings: Rose Hawkins (Gary,) Susan Kallis (Tim,) Forest Lester (Vicki,) Wayde Lester, Wesley Lester and Jason Lester. Along with many nieces and nephews.

Services were held Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Arlee Community Center with burial at Jocko Catholic Cemetery
