Aron Jarid Yellow Owl

TURTLE LAKE — Aron Jarid Yellow Owl, 32, AO, AYO, A-Aron, passed away at his home in Turtle Lake, Polson on Friday October 9, 2020.

Raised and educated in the Ronan High School and Middle school and Salish Kootenai College, Blackfeet Reservation, Browning, he moved to Puyallup and Tacoma Washington, and then Flathead Reservation in Ronan, Pablo, and Polson. He married DeSara Yellow Owl on June 1, 2011 but proposed on 4th of July 2010.

He worked as a laborer, detail cleaner, and server at a restaurant in Butte 2007-2011.CSKT maintenance and WBC 2011-2014, from 2015, and currently New Pottet and Mountain West Construction.

A CSKT member he loved to help anyone with little jobs, Hunting with friends, playing basketball at Center and summer 3-on-3’s with friends and family. Always gave his last dollar to help someone out. loved to be with his wife and kids his family doing sports and coaching kid’s teams and just spending time with them.

He is survived by seven children, Wenona Patten-Tenas Yellow Owl,Olavi Matson, Lala Yellow Owl, Cali Yellow Owl, Gotti “Handsome” Yellow Owl, Montana “Pretty Girl” Yellow Owl, and Jeezy “Poor Boy’ Yellow Owl. He is also survived by his Brothers Gabriel Yellow Owl Sr. (Carol) of Great Falls, Reuban Yellow Owl Washington, Sisters the late Pricilla Yellow Owl, Emilie Yellow Owl of Missoula, and Lisa Santos of Seattle, Washington.

He is preceded in Death by sister Pricilla Yellow Owl, grandmother Jennie Wells laMede, grandfather Dominic Yellow Owl, grandmother Irene Tailfeathers Fisher, grandfather Donald Michell.

A wake was held at the St. Ignatius Fitness Center on Tuesday October 13, 2020. Mass was held at St. Ignatius Fitness Center on Wednesday October 14, 2020. Memorials can be made to his wife DeSara and his kids.
