POLSON — With the continual increase in COVID-19 cases in Lake and surrounding counties, we have taken a few stricter measures to help protect our staff and patrons and to help keep us open. We are asking everyone to keep their visit to 30 minutes or less. For those needing to do essential work on a computer, we are allowing up to one hour in our study rooms. Essential work would include things like filing for unemployment, writing a resume, taking an exam, or doing work for your job. We are monitoring traffic and trying to keep the number of patrons in the building at one time to no more than 10. Masks have always been required, and must be worn at all times in the building over the nose and mouth. If you cannot or prefer not to wear a mask, curbside pickup is available. Please, if you are sick, have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive, if you have tested positive or if you are in quarantine, do not enter the building. You can call the library to make arrangements for curbside pickup, home or mail delivery. We also ask that you not return items until you are cleared; we can easily renew all materials for you or you can renew them online or through Shoutbomb.
