PAWsitive Reading Partners: Come read with Riley (a registered therapy dog) for 15 minutes! Wednesdays, from 3-4 p.m. Registration is required. Bring your favorite book, or pick one from the shelves. Riley loves listening to stories! Sign up for your time slot at the Library or call us at 883-8225.

Friday, November 11th is Veteran’s Day. The Library will be closed that day. We will reopen Saturday, November 12th from 9 am to 4pm.

Tuesday, November 15th at 11 am: Fall Painting Program- Pumpkins! Join Lizzy as she leads another painting program, with a fall pumpkin theme. Supplies will be provided. Just come enjoy and bring your artistic flair. You must register for this class, as spots are limited. Give the Library at call at (406) 883-8225 or reserve your seat the next time you come in.

Friday, November 18th from 5:30-8:30: Dungeons & Dragons: Come & learn to play. Jason Seidel will lead a one-off campaign to teach us how to play this classic Role Playing game. Characters will be premade and light refreshments will be provided. This class is for beginners. Please RSVP, as space is limited. 

November Technology Program: Tuesday, November 22nd at 2 pm: Graphic Design for Beginners. Do you want to make beautiful and professional social media posts, posters and flyers, book covers, resumes, and other types of digital and printable media? Learn how to use the Canva website to create graphic designs for work, school, and business.

Thanksgiving Holiday Closures: 

The Library will be closing Wednesday, November 23rd at 4 p.m. and will be closed Thursday, November 24th & Friday November 25th for Thanksgiving 

We will be open Saturday, November 26th from 9am to 4pm. 

Charlie M. Russell’s “The Night Before Christmas” Prints are now available for sale in the Library! Unframed prints are $15.00 each and are approximately 23”x 34”. This is a unique shopping & fundraising opportunity. A portion of the proceeds will go to the North Lake County Public Library, a portion to the Trust for Montana Libraries and a portion to the Great Falls Public Library Foundation, who shared the prints with us. Friends of the Library have donated a print, beautifully framed by Wild Horse Framing for display in the Library. Josephine Trigg was the Children’s Librarian in Great Falls and was a close friend of Charlie and Nancy Russell. Trigg suggested Charlie paint a scene for the Children’s area. The result was this unique work. 

Mondays mean Mother Goose! Join us at 9:15 a.m. Mother Goose is geared toward ages 0 to 3, but all are welcome. We encourage parents & caregivers to participate with their children for this early learning time. The doors open at 9. 

Thursdays at 9:15 a.m. is Story Time! Join us to read books, make crafts and play games with your little ones! This program is; geared for Kindergarten readiness ages 3-5, but everyone is welcome. November themes: 11/17: Thanksgiving
