On behalf of the Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Indian Reservation, we send good wishes to the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

We know your tribe has suffered more than its share of historical trauma throughout the years. Yet through steadfast leadership and an unwavering goal of seeking federal recognition, your Nation has persevered. This long-awaited and overdue federal recognition was prayed for, for decades by many people who recognized your people all along. Now with this realization, we continue our prayers for happiness and good health for your people and for the future endeavors of the tribe.

We admire you for your strength and perseverance, your courage and patience. We believe you have the people to do the continued hard work in planning for the future, creating programs to serve the membership and securing a land base. Thank you for showing us what determination, endurance, stamina and heart look like. We know good things will come your way. We wish you prosperity, success and wellbeing. Blessings~
