Community Fundraiser for Lonepine Hall set for March 11

There will be a fundraising Spaghetti Dinner at the Lonepine Hall on March 11 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.. Spaghetti, green salad, garlic bread, and a dessert buffet. Adults $8, Kids $4, and a family rate of $25 will be the donation amount for the meal. There will also be a Silent Auction with several very nice items up for auction. Early afternoon at 3 p.m. John Bras would like to meet with anyone who has stories or photos of the rebuilding of the current Lonepine Hall. He would like to get those stories written down for future generations to enjoy. Come and participate if you would like to hear the history or tell of anything memorable during the building of it.

Please come out and help to support the hall. It was built by the community for the community. It is used for weddings, banquets, reunions, 4-H meetings, irrigation meetings, funerals, etc. It is a big part of the community. There is a charge for the use of the hall to help maintain it but those charges do not cover the expense of keeping it up and running. We need to keep fundraising to keep ahead of the bills that come in for propane, electricity, etc. The hall is non-profit 5013c. We will provide a receipt if desired to anyone who donates. 

We are also looking for people who would like to be part of the Hall Board. If you live in the area and are interested in preserving of the hall and the grounds please come to the Spaghetti Dinner and let one of the board members know or maybe you would like to donate time doing work to maintain the building or grounds.
