Salish Kootenai Housing Authority, Pablo, MT.  Applicants should have knowledge of reservation programs and resources and be familiar with or have knowledge of Federal regulations.  Incumbent will be responsible for maintaining policies of the Housing Authority pursuant to the Bylaws of the Housing Authority.  Incumbent will also be responsible for other duties and functions required by Ordinance 38C, the Bylaws and policies and procedures of the Housing Authority.  The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribal Council will make the final selection.  Tribal Council policy adopted in March 2007 states:  “An employee of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai who is applying for a board or committee vacancy is required to submit along with the Letter of Interest, a letter signed by the immediate supervisor and the Department Head authorizing the employee to apply for and serve on the board or committee.  Any Tribal employee serving on a board or committee that is not directly related to the position the person holds in the Tribal organization, is required to use leave or leave-without-pay to attend all meetings, participate in any activity associated with the board or committee, or for any travel related to the board or committee.  Tribal employees are restricted to serving on no more than one (1) board at any time. ”
