Admission deadline is July 1 for MSU online bachelor’s degree completion program

BOZEMAN — Students who wish to enroll in Montana State University’s online bachelor’s degree completion program must submit all their enrollment materials by July 1. The program, which culminates in a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies, is designed for students who have at least 60 college credits or an associate’s degree and would like to earn a four-year degree online.

The program is relevant for variety of students, including: Those who have started but not completed a degree at MSU or another four-year institution; graduates of community colleges, tribal colleges, colleges of technology and other two-year programs; military personnel and veterans; people who need a bachelor’s degree to advance on the job; and anyone interested in the broad-based education of a liberal studies degree. The program is offered fully online.

Students who earn the degree will complete courses in the arts, humanities, science, mathematics, social sciences and a foreign language. Advisers work individually with students to determine how their existing credits apply toward degree requirements.

This fall, students can choose from a range of online courses, including the “Arts in America,” “Montana Indian Culture,” “Introduction to Entomology” and many others.
