Ferry Basin and Little Money Hunting Permit applications

The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribal Wildlife Management Program announce the availability of the 2014 Ferry Basin elk and Little Money bighorn sheep hunting permit applications on June 9. The permit applications will be available at the Tribal Division of Fish, Wildlife, Recreation and Conservation office at 406 6th Avenue East in Polson, Natural Resources Department, 301 Main Street in Polson, and at the Tribal Complex in Pablo.

Applications will also be available on the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Internet website June 9, the application will be a pdf document. The pdf application can be printed, signed and mailed or dropped off at the three permit application pickup sites listed above.

Hunting elk and bighorn sheep within the Ferry Basin and Little Money Wildlife Management Units is restricted by hunting, fishing and recreation regulations for tribal members. The Tribal Council sets these regulations and annual harvest quotas.

The deadline for applications is Wednesday, July 23 by 5:30 p.m., with no exceptions.
