Tribal Health seeking college students for summer Internship Program
The Tribal Health and Human Services Department is seeking college students in a medical field of study for its 3rd annual Summer Internship Program. The five internship positions are for enrolled members or first generation descendants of the Salish, Pend díOreille and Kootenai tribes.
Students must be enrolled in a full time Bachelorís Degree level of study preferably with a declared major in a health related field. They must have completed at least one full year of college classes with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
The internship placements include, but are not limited to, the pharmacy, physical therapy, dental and medical professions.
Successful candidates will receive a stipend for the six-week internship as well as scholarship funds for the upcoming school year.
