Keep kids busy this summer at SKC
PABLO — Salish Kootenai College, “Making Fitness Fun Program” will be starting June 10 at the Joe McDonald Gymnasium and is open to youth 18 and under. The fun program is intended to keep kids busy and active during the summer months. It will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Thursday, until August 22.
Activities will include swimming, kickball, football, basketball, dodgeball, native games, volleyball, soccer, shinny, and bike riding. A free breakfast will be provided 8:30 to 10 a.m. and free lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Transportation will be provided to the Ronan Boys and Girls Club and Polson Boys and Girls Club daily around 12 p.m.
Sign-ups sheets are at the SKC Fitness Center. Feel free to sign-up your child anytime during the summer (As long as participant limits aren’t reached). Children must be at least 7 years old or older to participate in the physical activities. Breakfast and lunch open to all youth under 18 years old.
