Taylor Shield wins 2012 Boy & Girls Club auto raffle

RONAN — Surprised by a Facebook notice posted by a friend, SKC student Taylor Shield (left) found out that she was the 2012 Boys & Girls Club auto raffle drawing winner. Taylor was presented with the key to her new wheels by Kim Aipperspach of Arnie’s Gas and Tire where the winning ticket was purchased. The drawing was held at the October 20 Zombie Prom at the Ronan Community Center where the winning ticket was drawn by Daniell Gardipe. Nearly three fourths of the $18,000 worth of tickets were sold at Arnies netting the club around $11,000. (courtesy photo)
