Tribal Social Service Department offering free training for K-7 teachers on November 3
PABLO — The Tribal Social Services Department has announced their upcoming FREE PAX Good Behavior Game Training on November 3, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the SKC Continuing Education Building. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Pax Good Behavior Game Training is a proven method for helping all kids succeed and giving teachers about a month more time in teaching time throughout the year. Teachers who have been trained and using the PAX Good Behavior Game in their classrooms observe less bullying, more attention, better student engagement, more time to teach and less time in disruptive behavior. Schools using this method are seeing a dramatic decrease in suspensions, expulsions and other disciplinary events. Your children and grandchildren will love this game and be more focused, productive and successful in their schools. One reservation school went from 130 suspensions, expulsions and other disciplinary events during the first quarter of last year down to 3 up to this date. Claire Richardson is a nationally and internationally renowned teacher trainer of the PAX Institute and will provide the training.
Teachers will receive the training, OPI units, CEU’s, and all the materials needed to implement the PAX Good Behavior Game in their classrooms. They will also receive follow-up coaching or training. Please encourage your children and grandchildren’s teacher to consider attending.
To RSVP for this training or more information please contact Tribal Social Services Department at 675-2700, ext. 1152, 1340 or 1321.
