Ronan-Pablo fall Hunters Education class announced

PABLO — Registration for the Ronan-Pablo Fall Hunter Education course will be Monday, September 24, in Room 115 at the Beaverhead Math and Science building on the Salish Kootenai College campus. Registration will begin at 7 p.m. A parent or guardian must accompany students under 18 to registration.

Only individuals 11 years of age or older at the day of sign-up may be certified upon successfully completing the course.

Volunteer instructors will teach the Hunters Education course beginning September 24, 25, 26, and 27, continuing October 1 and 2. Classes will be from 7 to 9 p.m. each evening. A mandatory field course is scheduled for Saturday, September 29.

All hunter education classes are free of charge and open to hunters and non-hunters alike. Some students take the courses for the firearm safety and outdoor survival information, even if they don’t plan to hunt.
