POLSON — The Lake County Democrats proudly held the Grand Opening of their first-ever campaign headquarters on Thursday, August 30, on Main and Hwy 93. Featured speakers included John Walsh, Lieutenant Governor candidate for Steve Bullock, who is running for Governor of Montana.
Revered legislators, Pat and Carol Williams, also treated attendees to an hour of political discussion.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was presided over by our very long time Democrats, Jim Eichenhorn, along with Dee and Stan Petersen. The event was standing room only as Democrats from all over Northwest Montana attended the event and spoke to candidates Nancy Lindsey for Senate District 6 and Luke Walawander for House District 12.
The Democratic party extends its deep sorry over the death of long time Montana Attorney General, Joe Mazurek who died this week, and they appreciate that Steve Bullock was on hand for the eulogy at his funeral. Joe was a great mentor and long-standing friend of Steve.
