Call for art for Kaleidoscope of Color exhibition

POLSON — The Sandpiper Art Gallery is pleased to announce “Kaleidoscope of Color” as the title and theme for the gallery’s next non-juried invitational exhibition. Artists are welcome to submit up to three pieces of original two or three dimensional work. All work must be delivered to the Sandpiper Gallery on Saturday, February 11 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. In order to maintain the gallery’s advertised exhibition schedule artwork received after this date may not be included in the exhibition.

All works submitted should incorporate the theme, Kaleidoscope of Color, in hopes of brightening up the sometimes dreary days of February and March.

There is no charge for Sandpiper members to exhibit, however non-members will be charged a $15 exhibitors fee. All work must be original, ready to hang and may not exceed 48” in any one dimension or 50lbs in weight. Except for photography, no prints or giclees of original works will be accepted. All work must be for sale, providing the gallery with a commission of 20 percent for members and 30 percent for non-members on work sold during the exhibition.

An Opening Reception will be held Friday, February 17 from 5 - 7 p.m. The exhibit will be on display through Saturday March 24, at which time artists must pick up their work. In addition to this unique opportunity to exhibit, the Sandpiper Art Gallery, located at 306 Main Street, welcomes all artists and art lovers to join the gallery to receive all of the membership benefits.
