St. Luke fundraiser set for Friday, September 17
RONAN -— It's a trip down memory lane at the 10th Annual St. Luke
Foundation dinner and silent auction on Friday, September 17. This year
everyone is invited to "Meet on the Green" at Mission Mountain Country
Club as the Bop-A-Dips revive musical memories with classic rock and
roll hits from the 1950s forward.
"This year we just wanted everyone to relax and have a good
time with some good food and great music at our annual fund and friend
raising event," according to Gayle Wilhelm, St. Luke Foundation
Executive Director.
The evening begins with a social hour and silent auction at 6
p.m. The $70 tickets include a sit-down dinner before the Bop-A-Dips
start cranking out the hits with their high-energy show where attendees
will be encouraged to do the stroll, the twist, the bop or just sit and
tap their toes to the tunes.
Because the affair will be held under a huge tent at the
Mission Mountain Country Club, seating is limited for the annual dinner
event that has sold out every year for the past nine years. "We
encourage everyone to get their tickets early so they won't miss out on
this blast from the past," Wilhelm points out. She goes on to say that
attendees will need to get their tickets in advance since no tickets
will be sold at the door.
All of the proceeds from the "Meet me on the Green" dinner,
silent auction and dance will go toward the Digital Mammography Capital
Campaign. The St. Luke Foundation is raising $185,000 to match an M. J.
Murdock Charitable Trust grant to purchase a digital mammography unit
for the community-owned hospital in Ronan.
Those interested in getting tickets to the 10th Annual St. Luke
Foundation dinner event can call 528-5324 or e-mail Gail Wilhelm at gwilhelm@stlukehealthnet.org.
