People's Center needs help for Native American Awareness Days coming September 21-23
PABLO — The People’s Center will be hosting the annual Native
American Awareness Days September 21-23. Supplies and volunteers for
the activities are needed. The following is needed: paper products
(plate, bowls, plastic ware, napkins, sandwich bags, lunch sacks),
flour, baking powder, oil, butter, cotton filler (like for pillow
stuffing), cloth, scissors, sinew, construction paper (white or off
white), and color pencils.
Volunteers are needed to help with craft instruction, clean up/setup, and other duties.

The Peoples' Center provides this free cultural education
opportunity for all local school students and general public. Every
year they host over 600 students in three days. Help share a part of
Salish, Pend d’Oreille and Kootenai history, stories, language and life
ways. Your help is greatly appreciated.
