Dr. Donald Grinde, Jr. to give lecture on the US Constitution on August 12
PABLO — American Indian scholar Dr. Donald Grinde, Jr. will deliver
a lecture on the Iroquois Confederacy, the Great Law of Peace, and
their influence in shaping the United States Constitution. Dr. Grinde
is a professor and chair in the Department of American Studies at the
University at Buffalo, the State University of New York. Professor
Grinde has published numerous books on the Iroquois, Federal Indian
Policy, and American Indian history. The lecture will be held
on Thursday, August 12 at 3 p.m. in the Johnny Arlee and Victor Charlo
Theatre on the Salish Kootenai College campus. The event is free and
open to the public.
