Ronan Pioneer Days 3 on 3 "JAM" Boree is July 31

RONAN — The 15th annual Ronan Pioneer Days 3-on-3 "JAM" Boree basketball tournament is coming up and organizers are now accepting entry forms.

The sign up deadline is Thursday, July 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ronan Dairy Queen. The entry fee is $80 and the every team that pays by July 29 will receive a T-shirt. All entry fees are non-refundable.

The tournament games will be held on the Ronan High School courts Saturday, July 31, beginning at 9 a.m. Please note that this is a different location than the previous on-street site in downtown Ronan.

There are boys and girls divisions starting at grade 3 and 4 through adult. The pairings will be decided after all entry forms are in and posted 8 am. Saturday, July 31 at tournament site.

If there are not enough teams (at least three) in some divisions, those teams will be inserted in the division closest to the one they would ordinarily occupy. The divisions are open to female and male in youth, high school and adult categories as well as the coed division.

There is a three game guarantee for the four-person teams with prizes awarded for first place. The coed teams can have five players on roster and one female player must be on the court playing. The games will go to 21 points or to the 25-minute limit.

All participants or their guardians must sign a release form.
