MVP announces a four-day workweek with ten-hour days
PABLO — Mission Valley Power is returning to this work schedule to
provide customers with the opportunity to do their business before or
after their work shift. The time change will allow a greater
opportunity for most Contractors to interact with MVP during these
months.
Days they will be open are Monday through Thursday, 7am to 5:30pm.
The first day of operation on ten-hour shifts will be March 22.
It is MVP’s intention to operate on this schedule through October 15
excluding holidays.
Mission Valley Power knows this will allow customers a new time
to access and interact with MVP. In 2009, MVP saw cost and energy
savings with their four-day workweek. These savings will be shared with
the customers by maintaining low rates, and doing their part in saving
energy.
Remember: Customers can contact MVP by phone at 883-7900 during
work hours, make payments at all MVP drop boxes or Valley Bank
locations within the service area, as well as contact them at 883-7972
for after-hour emergencies.
