PABLO — Joined by tribal and community members,
Senator Jon Tester
kicked off Montana’s early voting period at the Obama campaign office
in Pablo last Monday. Included in the 60-plus people was Agnes
“Oshanee” Kenmille, who, for the first time in her 92 years, has
registered to vote. She and others took a ‘votercade’ to the Polson
election office to cast their ballots.

Early registration mail-ins ended on October 6,
but that
doesn’t mean you can’t vote; you can still register by going to your
county’s election office. If you have registered, you can vote for your
favorite presidential and local candidates at the election office up to
November 3. You’ll need an a state, federal, student or tribal ID or an
electric utility bill to early vote.
These eager voters enjoy spirited political conversation as they queue to the election office. (Jason Smith photo) Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8
a.m. to 5
p.m., but certain counties have extended hours. To find your local
county election office, visit www.EarlyVoteMT.com or call
toll-free (877) 683-2759.
