Two Eagle River School begins Aug. 21

PABLO — Two Eagle River School will begin its 2008-2009 school year on Thursday, August 21, at 8:05 AM.

New students need to contact the school for an application packet as applications have been already sent out to TERS students previously registered.

School personnel will be available for parents/guardians who bring in their new student and the required paperwork for enrollment; they will be required to attend an entrance interview prior to admission. Please call the school to schedule an appointment.

Upon acceptance into TERS, all students who have not taken the skill level test will be required to complete the test and to meet with the School Counselor before their class schedules can be finalized.

Classes will be held Monday - Thursday, at 8:20 AM and will be let out at 4:25 PM each day.

Buses will pick up students beginning Thursday, Aug. 21 at the following designated sites and times for the first few days until the school can determine numbers of riders, etc.:

Turtle Lake: 7:00 AM; Rocky Point: 7:20 AM; Polson: Hospital parking lot (east end), 7:35 AM; West Apartments, 7:45 AM; Town Pump, 7:50 AM

Buses will arrive at TERS at 8 a.m. for breakfast. Routes will be adjusted after the first couple of days to accommodate students and the drivers. If you live in an area NOT listed, please call the school immediately to arrange for transportation.

Sports practices for Volleyball, Football and Cross Country will begin with a meeting on Monday, August 18, at 12 Noon at TERS. Parental permission and physical forms are available at the school and MUST be turned in to the Athletic Director before practice can begin.

Students interested in participating in athletics MUST attend the August 18 meeting and are asked to bring paperwork/forms with them.
