Golf for Griz Scramble set for June 27
RONAN — Area golfers and University of Montana coaches and staff
will be teeing it up in Ronan again for the Annual Golf for Griz
Tournament June 27. The 18-hole tourney, sponsored by the Mission
Mountain Chapter (MMC) of the Grizzly Scholarship Association, will be
a four-member co-ed scramble. A shotgun start will kick off the action
at 11 a.m. at the Mission Mountain Country Club.
Griz coaches and staff will golf with participants on a rotating basis. Play and door prizes will be awarded.
The tourney will be followed by a pig roast barbecue and
awarding of prizes. A silent auction will also be conducted. All
proceeds will go toward funding scholarships for U of M athletes.
The fee for the tournament will be $90 per person. That fee
will cover the golf, the barbecue and entry for door prizes. Barbecue
only tickets are available for $25 each. To sign up for the tourney or
