Gauthier Agency opens for business

RONAN — Robert Gauthier has opened Gauthier Agency, L.L.C. in the Ronan Professional Center at 63316 U.S. HWY 93 in Ronan. The agency offers full service real estate listing and sales, property management, and development services. The office is a member of the Northwest Montana Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and the Northwest Montana Multiple Listing Service.

Robert Gauthier, a native of Arlee and a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, has been licensed in Montana as a real estate salesman since 1979. In 1982, he received his Broker's License.

In 1983, Bob was hired as Executive Director of the Salish and Kootenai Housing Authority where, over the next 20 years, he was responsible for the development and management of over 800 units of affordable housing, both rental and homeownership. Robert has an extensive background in housing finance and development. He served on the Board of the Seattle Federal Home Loan Bank, The Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) National Advisory Board, Fannie Mae’s Housing Impact Board, and in Polson on the First Interstate Bank Advisory Board. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Eagle Bank and on the Montana Board of Housing.

Thomas, born in Polson, is a lifelong resident of Lake County. He worked with his family for over 10 years at Joe’s Jiffy Stop in Pablo. First licensed as a salesman in 2005, Thomas began his real estate career with Coldwell Banker Gateway Realty in Polson. Interested in technology and communication; he achieved the e-PRO, Realtors designation in 2006. As an active member of the Northwest Montana Association of Realtors, Thomas currently sits on the Technology Committee. When he isn’t busy selling real estate, Thomas enjoys sailing on Flathead Lake, reading, BBQ, and exploring Montana.

Tony decided after 22 years in the construction field to pursue a career in real estate where he can build and sell homes. In 2004 he received his real estate salesman license and joined Gauthier Agency. He has been married to his wife LeAnna for 15 years and has two wonderful sons. Gauthier Agency also employs Rochelle Gauthier as office manager. Rochelle is a native of Lake County. She holds an Associate of Applied Science Degree from Salish Kootenai College. She has worked for the past two years for Ahoy Leasing and Development and assumes the new duties with Gauthier Agency, L.L.C. in addition to her current responsibilities. She currently lives in Pablo with her three children but has recently purchased a home in Ronan. She is a member of the Ronan Chamber of Commerce.
