Arlee AIBL raises money for
leadership conference

ARLEE - AIBL Arlee Youth Chapter is selling raffle
tickets until
April 5, 2008. The raffle is for a Pendleton Blanket donated by the
Vollin Family and a Star Quilt Blanket made by the AIBL Jr. High girls
plus a few more donated.
The ticket are $1 each or $5 for 6
tickets and you do not need to be present to win. AIBL will get into
contact with the winners.
The AIBL Arlee Youth Chapter will travel to Las
Vegas, Nevada,
for the American Indian Business Leadership Conference from April 6 to
April 10.
The kids are working hard on their projects. Three
group of
kids will compete wit a business and/or chapter outline against other
AIBL Chapters.
On April 5 at the Arlee Community Fitness Center,
the students
will setup a table to sell the items that they have been making this
year and will have a 50/50 drawing. Items that will be available to
purchase include Frybread-in-a-jar Mix, travel pillows, pom-poms, AIBL
table football sets, beadwork and various other items that have been
donated to help support the group.
The AIBL Arlee Youth Chapter would greatly
appreciate the
support from the communities and hope that you will buy some raffle
tickets.
American Indian Business Leaders (AIBL) is a
student-based program designed to promote and support the American
Indian business students and/or entrepreneurs.
