Courville receives French family scholarship

MISSOULA — Amanda Dawn Courville of Pablo has been awarded a $1,250 French Family Scholarship from The University of Montana.

Courville is a UM senior majoring in photojournalism. She is a graduate of Ronan High School and the daughter of Julie and Dennis Courville of Pablo.

John and Joan French established the Dorothy E. French Memorial Scholarship in 2000 in memory of John's wife and Joan's mother. Upon John French's death in April 2005, the fund name was changed to the French Family Scholarship.
