Clarice Paul home,
playground shelter defaced by vandals
Story and photos by Maggie

This Clarice Paul
housing area home and
the
playground shelter across the street from it were hit by graffiti
vandals almost two weeks ago, on the night of Jan. 6.
The home is going
to need new steel siding on this south wall, to the tune of more than
$1,000, according to Salish Kootenai Housing Authority officials.
Tribal Chief of Police Craige Couture reports that there are apparently
no witnesses to this incident.
Police are seeing
similar graffiti in
Ronan, Pablo and various tribal homesites around the reservation, he
said. Anyone with information about this or other graffiti vandalism is
asked to contact Tribal Police, 675-4700, or SKHA, 675-4491.
